Product Introduction
P20 is mold quality alloy steel supplied in the prehardened condition. Special melting and refining practices are utilized to produce a uniform product with exceptional cleanliness. These characteristics allow P20 to be polished to an extremely high finish required for plastic molding. The material is tested to rigorous tool steel standards to ensure uniformity of structure and freedom from defects. P-20 is supplied prehardened to 262/321 BHN. The balanced alloy composition of P20 ensures a uniform cross-sectional hardness.
2311 is in the group of tool steel for plastic mold. Offer in the condition of quenching and tempering.Hardness is in the range of 280-325 HB (29-34 HRC) , this result in high strength.Worry free for size distorted after quenching.Suitable for plastic mold with thickness less than 400 mm.Very good for polishing and suit for plastic mold that need bright surface or need texturing
